Sunday Night Sit Schedule
Four-Week Sunday Series with Patricia Galaczy
Starting Sunday, March 8, 2026
Join Patricia Galaczy for a reflective four-week journey titled Exploring a Spiral of Dharma Nature: Buddhist Eco-Chaplaincy Reflections and Practices. Drawing on Buddhist teachings and eco-chaplaincy practice, this series invites us into a living spiral of inquiry—one that meets the realities of our world with steadiness, care, and compassion.
Across four Sundays, Patricia will weave contemplative practices, reflection, and gentle inquiry through these themes:
- Part I: Introduction & the Dharma of Gratitude and Being with What Is
- Part II: The Dharma of Dukkha and Turning Toward Pain
- Part III: The Dharma of Insight and Seeing with New Eyes
- Part IV: The Dharma of Wise Response and Going Forth
All are welcome. Although each session builds on the previous, the sessions also stand on their own—come to one, some, or all, as you’re able.
About Patricia Galaczy
A deep passion for learning and an infinite curiosity about how we can best relate to ourselves, each other, and larger systems, led Patricia to create The Art of Dialogue twenty-five years ago. Since then, her work has focused on partnering with human-serving and post-secondary organizations to create and facilitate leadership and mindfulness education.
Patricia has trained in the Sati Center for Buddhist Studies Buddhist Eco Chaplaincy program that cultivates the wisdom and skills needed to support people in developing healthy, compassionate, and mutually supportive relationships with themselves, with each other, and with the natural world. Her work emphasizes experience-based activities and contemplative practices that deepen our connection to nature while helping us face contemporary socio-environmental challenges with clarity, courage, and heart.
Patricia has been practicing in the Theravada Tradition since 2003 and leading mindfulness groups since 2012.
