2013/10/08 Margo McLoughlin presents 8 weeks on “Path of Awareness”

Beginning Tuesday, October 8th, Margo McLoughlin will offer an eight-week evening class at the Oak Bay United Church. “The Path of Awareness: Awakening Wisdom and Deepening Compassion” is an opportunity to explore together the value and the meaning of the Buddha’s teachings in our daily lives. Using the Buddha’s words, as well as stories and poems from the Buddhist tradition, Margo will guide participants in an ongoing conversation designed to deepen our appreciation of interconnectedness and awaken a sense of our own creative potential to make a difference in the world.

The class will include short periods of guided meditation, partner and large group discussions, as well as optional readings and homework reflections.

Dates: Tuesday evenings, October 8 – December 3rd with no class on October 22nd.

Time: 7 – 8:30 p.m.

Location: The Chapel at the Oak Bay United Church
