The Buddha taught that our mind can be our best friend or our enemy. He encouraged us to see for ourselves what thoughts, words, and actions lead to peace and liberation.
On this day of mindfulness awareness we will investigate and reflect on how our mind can be our friend, how we can cultivate beneficial qualities of the heart and mind, and how we can see and experience this for ourselves.
There will be periods of sitting and walking meditation, chanting and guided meditations, including Chi Kung exercises.
This daylong is appropriate for both beginner and experienced meditators.
